San Gabriel Valley Mentoring Program

While serving on the board of the National Contract Management Association's (NCMA) local San Gabriel Valley Chapter, I led the charge with the help of some excellent mentors to create a formal mentoring program for the Chapter Members.

The purpose of this program was to pair up recent college graduates with mid-level career professionals to help the younger generation understand the day-to-day adjustment of working in a corporate environment. In addition, we paired up line-supervisors with executives, and executives with senior vice presidents. This was also an excellent chance for women to be mentored, which was one pivotal goals of starting this program.
